2023 Saltram Mamre Brook Barossa Shiraz

Mamre Brook is one of the most famous places in the Barossa Valley and the wines featuring the grand old Mamre Brook house on the label are among Australia's favourites. The wines stand proud as a tribute to their heritage at the heart of the Barossa with all fruit sourced exclusively from this great region.

Bright and loaded with aromas reminiscent of cassis, cherries and fresh dark plums and five spice. Plush layers of dark fruit flavours from rich cherry to mulberry, generous tannins and a finish lingering with liquorice and spice.

Nose - Lifted aromas of cherries, plums and cassis with layers of raspberry and licorice and subtle spice oak influence. 

Palate - The palate is full to medium bodied, combining fresh plum, cranberries, and mulberries with fine silky tannins and succulent acidity that is balanced, plush and seamless. An intriguing blend of bright sweet fruit, and savoury pulpy tannins.
